If you're looking for a fun and festive way to spend some quality time with your dog this spring, be sure to check out the Doggy Egg Hunt hosted by the Plainfield Park District! While I won’t be able to make it, I highly recommend it for any dog owner looking to have a blast with their furry friend.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Clow Stephens Dog Park. It’s the perfect chance for your dog to put their nose to work by sniffing out colorful eggs filled with tasty treats hidden throughout the park. Dogs will enjoy the mental and physical stimulation, while you get to watch them have a blast in a safe, friendly environment.

• Time: 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
• Location: Clow Stephens Dog Park, 16650 S. Lily Cache Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544
• Cost: $8 for Plainfield residents, $10 for non-residents
• Eligibility: This event is open to both residents and non-residents of Plainfield.

How to Register Make sure to register for the event in advance. You only need to register for one dog per household, but if you have additional dogs, be sure to contact the Park District.

• Residents: Registration opens on December 2, 2024, at 8:30 AM.
• Non-Residents: Registration opens on December 9, 2024, at 12:00 AM.

Important Event Guidelines

• All dogs must have current vaccinations.
• Dogs must be leashed and under the control of their owners at all times.
• Park District Dog Park rules apply throughout the event.
